Life Reflections CD Wilson was born July 16, 1941 in Edgewood, Texas to the late Willie and Lavelle Wilson. He was the seventh child of eight siblings. He attended Cartwright High School in Wills Point, Texas Public School District after graduation he enlisted into the United States Army. He graduated from barber college in 1968. CD accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethlehem BC in Edgewood, Texas. He was an avid reader of the bible and was a member of Cliffwood Church of Christ until it's closing. CD met and married Carrie Brody on January 15, 1972, and from this union, a son was born Brandon J. Brody Wilson. CD worked in the security field for over 60 years. He worked for Lidon Security Branch until he retired in 2021. He enjoyed working with his boys (as he would call them) and his computer/ phone guru (Tamecia Henderson). He was a true cowboy and Maverick's fan and also of wrestling. CD's earthly journey ended when Jesus called him home on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:58 P.M. Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and Lavelle Wilson; three brothers, Charlee, James and Lester Wilson; three sisters, Pearline Lewis, Dorothy Cunigan, Josey Sanders and son, Brandon J. Brody Wilson. To cherish his memory are his wife, Carrie Brody Wilson of Dallas; one sister, Ruby Smith of Edgewood, TX; one daughter, Cathy Wilson of Dallas; one daughter-in-law, Crystal Q. Wilson of Odenton, MD; five grandchildren, Shanita, Brandon and De'Shaun Ivy of Dallas, Dakari and Elijah Brody Wilson of Odenton, MD; nine great grandchildren, Alex Fields, Braylen Ivy, Jordan James, Anya Ivy, Bryson Ivy, Tiana Ivy, Chloe Ivy, Kynedi Ivy and Kason Ivy; eight brothers-in-law, Benny, Robert, Bernard, Richard, Paul and John Brody of Dallas; Harold Brice of Smyrna, DE and Perry Morrsetti, Dallas; seven sisters-in-law, Ida, Lionel, Elnora, Sandra, Sharon, Vanessa Brody, Dallas and Gloria of Smyrna, DE; a host of nieces, nephews and friends .
