Charles Dean Smith (Skippy), presented himself to us on May 1, 1947, he was born to Charles D. Johnson and Billie Ruth Smith. He was lovingly cared for by his aunt Pauline Clark. His siblings were Beatrice Jordan, MargareƩe Clark, Rev. Johnnie Smith, Michael McClellan, and EmmiƩ Smith. Skippy was loved and loved by many more.

He joined in marriage with his beloved wife, Sherryl Ann Smith. They were blessed with two loving young

men, Cory Smith and Christopher Smith. Skippy wanted nothing more than for his boys to become strong men. He aƩended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. He lived on to become an Electrician serving many years at Borden. He later married his loving wife, Shanneca Luckey. Skippy had a strong passion for golf and was a member of the Cedar Crest Golf Club. Any type of sport, you named it, he loved it. He was preceded in death by Corey Smith, Beatrice Jordan, Sherryl Smith and Pauline Clark.

Honey it was an honor to know you. You were such a strong and smart man but to be your Wife, it was much more than pleasure. I am having a hard time saying goodbye; so I will just say see you later. I will continue to hold you in my heart forever. With our memories I will continue to be strong and sweet as you liked me to be. God brought us together for so many reasons. I will continue to carry all things that I have learned from you in my heart. It hurts but I understand you were tired. I love you please rest easy baby.

Dƒ— I’m holding back the tears today remembering the wonderful and precious years spent happily with you And I can’t think of anything that I wouldn’t give to see the lovable familiar face that means so much to me. Just to spend a day with you and laugh with you again, for since you’ve been gone life‘s never been the same. Joyful expressions from your brothers and sisters: you will be sorely missed among us. Thank you for the marvelous moments we shared together, and for the love you had for us. You were indeed our big brother, and we will never forget the impact you made in our lives. From J. I enjoyed watching the boys and spending Ɵme with you. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to tell you how much I loved you. Forever in my heart.
