So many things have happened since they were called away. So many things to share with them had they been left here to stay. And now on this Reunion Day, Memories do come our way. Though absent, they are always near, still missed, remembered and always dear.

T RIBUTES

Recognizing our Ms. Lincoln of the class of 1968 Jo Maurnice (Wilkerson) Sweatt. She has continued over the years to show grace and honor to the title. She has been quietly faithful in her dedication to our class. Thank you, Ms. Lincoln for continuing to represent the class of 1968 in such a special way.

Canell Thompson served as our President for many years. He worked tirelessly to reach out to our class members to ensure that each person was not forgotten and remembered always as a proud Lincoln Tiger. His outstanding efforts on behalf of our class will never be forgotten. “Canell we miss you.” Gone but never forgotten. “

Dimple Jackson lived on Audrey Street in Dallas’ Dixon Circle neighborhood for more than 50 years. When she died in 2019 at the age of 93, the street lost its guiding light. Her son, Robert Jackson (Lincoln Tiger class of 1968) calls her “the neighborhood matriarch.” On April 1, 2023 the street she called home for five decades was renamed in her honor .
