Connie Grigsby Lucius was born on June 18, 1960 in Dallas, TX to the parentage of Selena and Melvin Grigsby, Sr. who she is preceded in death by. Connie graduated from Spruce High School. After high school she attended Nursing and Cosmetology School. During her adult life Connie worked in Home Healthcare, as well as owned and operated her own beauty/nail salon. She is preceded in death by two sons; Christopher and Brandun Grigsby, and one sister, Betty Godwin. She leaves behind two children; DeMarcus Grigsby (Shamie) and DeAndrea (Jennifer) Grigsby, four grandchildren; Jamarea, Bailey, Shadi, Dhamir and one great grandchild, Chaston. As well as brothers, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Everyone that was blessed to meet Connie knows that she never met a stranger. Always ready to help someone. She was definitely the smiling, free spirit, wonderful, loving mother who loved not only her family but friends as well.
