Tributes Rodrick knew how much I had his back and how deeply I cared for him. Losing him has been a shock that’s hard to put into words. No matter what, I’ll always love him and miss him dearly. Our bond was one of a kind, and I’ll carry his memory with me for the rest of my life. ️ Love you man, Harold
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure
Uncle, it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye. Losing my mother and now you has been one of the hardest challenges of my life. You played such a pivotal role in our family… not just as an uncle, but as a father figure, a friend, and a source of strength and wisdom. Your love, laughter, and guidance will forever echo in my heart. So instead of saying goodbye, I’ll simply say, I’ll see you later. I love you deeply and will carry your memory with me always. ~ love Shadawn ️ ❤️
Uncle Rod
You filled the places I needed a dad to fill. You were always there…steady and supportive…especially when I needed you most. I’ll cherish our talks and every memory.
I’ll strive to be the woman of God you believed I could be, living out the lessons you taught through the life you lived.
’Til we meet again. Always in my heart, Taira ❤️
to My Uncle, Rodrick Sams
You were more than my uncle — you were my friend. You loved me as much as you loved Houston and we all know how much you loved H town.
You taught me lessons that went far beyond words — lessons about strength and loyalty. You had a spirit that lifted everyone around you.
Losing you leaves a space that can’t be filled, but your influence will stay with me forever.
I miss you deeply, but I’ll keep your name alive and your lessons proudly. You were more than my uncle. You were family in the truest sense .
Rest easy, Uncle Rodrick. I love you always. -Warrick
