Herman Lee Andrews was born on August 25, 1954, to the parentage of Dorothy Cotton and Willie Lee Andrews, in Mobile, Alabama. After the passing of his mother, he was raised by his maternal grandmother, Matilda Cotton. She taught him to be mannerable, respectful, and kind to others and to trust in the golden rule of treating others as you want to be treated as well as to be thankful for blessings. He received an education from Toulminville High School and then attended trade school for upholstery and had his own business. He later enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps for 2 years before his honorable discharge. Afterwards, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1987 where he met and married Sharon Fillmore. He again had a business working in the upholstery industry and later retired. Herman acquired a passion for bowling and joined a league to further his skills. He also believed in keeping his body fit through exercise and weightlifting. You could count on seeing Herman dressed in the best and latest fashion – a sharp dresser with matching clothes and shoes to top the finest styles. You always took a second glance. He was a model of fashion to all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife, Sharon Andrews; children, LaTonya Hatch, Larry Fillmore (LaKesha) of Plainfield, Indiana, DaJuan Small, Taylor Weaver and CaTonya Robinson; Aunt, Ernestine Fields (Lorenza); devoted cousin, Adrienne Fails Reedy (Reginald); sister - in - law, Malinda Allen; grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends
