She accepted Christ at an early age at Revival Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Rev. Faye A. Spencer. She was known as the “Tambourine Queen”.

Josephine leaves to cherish her memories: children, Carol Williams, James Williams, and Lola Brown (Adrian Sr.); grandchildren Christal Hay (Rodney), D’stiny Bell, Adrelan Brown, Adrian Brown III, Laila Brown, James Williams III, Jerimah Williams; great grandchildren Masiya Williams, Riley Hay, Isaiah Bell, LaiYanna Bisor; sisters, Bobbie King, Helen Ann Ealoms (Rev. Pastor John W); brothers, Leo King, Tommy King; a host of other relatives and friends.
