Julisha Diyali was born September 25, 2011 in Dallas, Texas to parents, Mr. Birkha Diyali and Mrs. Phul Diyali. She attended Bradfield Elementary School, kindergarten to the fifth grade. At graduation, she received the “ Top Writing Student Award ”, “ Reading and Writing Award ” and was on the A/B Honor Roll. She entered Jackson Technology Center for sixth grade ‘23 - ’24, where she enjoyed learning violin. Julisha attended New Life Family Church with her family until that fellowship moved to Fort Worth. When she was little she sang “ Jesus Loves Me ”, in front of everyone. Pastor Devendra Acharya and his wife, Narola, introduced Leah Carey to the Diyali family. Julisha loved to go to the AWANA program at “ Auntie ” Leah ’ s church. She was known for her sweet tender heart, often smiled warmly and offered big hugs to AWANA leaders. Her friends from middle school have shared and Julisha ’ s family believes that bullying incidents led to her sadness/depression and finally taking her own life early Saturday morning. She leaves behind loving family members, father, Birka, mother, Phul, sister, Punam (Diyali) Mainali with husband Bikash, nieces; Brisha and Brishma, brother, Tilak, sisters; Sunita, Reema and Jessica Diyali as well as many other caring relatives.
