Linda Hermedah Hervey was born on December 15, 1948 in Corsicana, TX., to Otis Gibson and Jessie Brooks Gibson. Linda passed from this earthly life on march 5, 2023 in Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her: Spouse: Ray Hervey Child: Tonja Hervey Hardy Parents: Otis and Jessie Gibson Siblings: Otis Gibson, Jr. Her son, Preston Hervey Her daughters; Melinda Hervey and Nikki Black Her siblings; Shirley Graham, Laqueta Turner, Bill Gibson, and Alfred Watkins. Her grandchildren; Hailey Hervey, Pierce Hervey, and Tiyana Hervey And a host of nieces and nephews. Linda spent 15 years working for IBM in Los Colinas, TX. She also worked as the Music Secretary for Pastor J. Daniel Smith at Bethesda Community Church. She was a Peace Officer, one of the original and founding leaders of the Red Hat Society. She led a home group at Bethesda, and loved to cook and take meals to people in need. She was a long time member of Bethesda Community Church, where she came in the fall of 1979 with her husband ray, and children Tonja and Preston. She and Ray were part of “The Promise” in Glen Rose and even traveled with them in performance tours. She loved to sing and was a faithful choir member at Bethesda for many years. She was a mother to many kids and young people. Linda loved to serve families in need and loved serving her church. She is survived by:
