The Homegoing Celebration for the Life of
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you prayed a sincere prayer or came to pay a call. Perhaps you sang a cheerful song, if so, we heard it all. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you prepared a tasty dish, or maybe furnished a car. Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from afar. Whatever you did to console our hearts, by word or deed or touch. Whatever was the kindly part, we thank you, oh so very much. -The Family

You loved me when I didn ’ t know how to feel. You held me together on days I didn ’ t know I was breaking, every time I stood back up was because of you. Thank you for sacrificing more than I ’ ll ever under
stand. Losing you didn ’ t just break my heart, it changed the way the world feels. But I feel you in my strength and in my softness. You didn ’ t leave me empty but full of you. I ’ m going to miss you in words that can ’ t be explained but I ’ ll carry you in everything I do. I Love You Mama,
Your Only Child, Brittany Johnson
To My Wife, Even in your absence you are everywhere, in the quiet moments, in the memories that still take my breath. Loving you didn ’ t end when you left. I just learned how to ache in silence. I will forever hold you in my heart. Until we meet again. Love, James Lee
To My Granny, Our grandma was a shining star whose light never faded, even from afar going to miss you. Love, Da
Roses are red, Violets are blue, you have been a great granny to me. Love, Citamae
To my sister, how can I find the words to say how much I miss you, I miss our little chats I which most of the time, you were cursing me out but always
Of all the special gifts in life to have you as our auntie was the greatest gift of all. To lose you brings such sadness, but we know that you live on. A silent thought, a secret tear keeps your memory near. No more tomorrows, we can share, but yesterday’s memories are always there. We love and miss you auntie. Tell grandma we said hi and we love her. ShaQula and Jordan
without fail you would say to me at the end of every call, no matter the circumstance, “I love you big brother.” I am so grateful for the years we shared together. No matter what I always knew that you loved me unconditionally. You were a strong woman who would move Heaven and earth for her family. You had so much love for your daughter, husband and grandkids. You made so many sacrifices for their happiness. I will never forget the times when it was just the four of us, you mom, Terrie and me. No one will ever understand the love and the bond we have for each other. You will always be remembered, and time may heal my heart, but a piece of me will always be missing. If Heaven is for angels then I know you will be one of their mightiest angels. Say hello to Mom for me and I know the love for you will always shine through your family. I love you sister. Your Big Brother, Eric
To my sister, the day you took your last breath, my heart broke into pieces. I only have the memories to hold on to. You fought a good fight, but I know you were tired. God have you to me for 55 years and I thought we had more time. You are gone too soon but will never be forgotten. Sis, the only comfort I have is knowing you are up there with mom and dad smiling down. Rest in peace my baby sister.
