Raised in Fort Worth, Ronnie graduated from Polytechnic High School and went on to live a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to family. He was a proud son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle, and shared many years of companionship with his longtime partner, Tiuvon Williams. Ronnie had a vibrant spirit and a personality that could light up any room. Outgoing and friendly, he never met a stranger and was known for striking up conversations wherever he went. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, and his presence left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He loved watching old movies, listening to music, and spending time enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Whether at home surrounded by family or out experiencing new places, he lived life with curiosity, joy, and a warm heart. He is preceded in death by his mother, Connie Brown; his sister, Roslyn Hartsfield; his grandson, Jordan Miles; his nephew, Cameran Hartsfield; and a host of other beloved family. He is survived by his sons Walter Miles (Shannon Harris), Marcus Miles 9Selina Mosquera), and Beau Smith; his beloved grandchildren, including Walter Miles Jr., Marcus, Jaiden, Marquis, Maliya, Malik, Maximus, Messiah, Malani, Aleena and Ariana, and his siblings Tonjan Hartsfield, Cynthia Rush, Karen Lewis (Ernest), Cherlanda Hartsfield, Dion Hartsfield, Charles Hartsfield, and Juan Hartsfield (Alicia). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory. Ronnie will be remembered for his laughter, his love of people, and the way he made life brighter for all who knew him. As he so often greeted those around him, we will remember him with his favorite saying: “ What ’ s up with it? ”
